The Jaguar C-X75 is was a plug-in hybrid supercar in every sense of the word.

In the end, it was the supercar price that was its undoing, as the model’s production run was cancelled just over 6 months ago due to the Jag’s near $1 million pound ($1.55 million USD) estimated price-tag.

  • turbocharged 1.6-liter four cylinder engine and two electric motors
  • 888 hp
  • 738 lb-ft of torque
  • 0-60 in 2.8 seconds
  • 0-100 mph in 6.0 seconds
  • top speed:  220+ mph.
  • Electric-only range was claimed to be up to 60 miles (but ended up around 40)
  • Fuel economy was claimed to be comparable to a compact hybrid sedan
