Who Doesn’t Want To Drive And Own Their Own Personal Electric Bus?

About the size of a Mini in length, and twice it in height, the Rinspeed microMAX has headroom to spare; but for good reason, as the Swiss firm thinks drivers and passengers will benefit from being transported around in an upright position.

”This ingenious commuter vehicle merges personal and public transportation in very clever fashion.”

The tall, electric vehicle is powered by a 32 kW motor and is reportedly capable of achieving 59 miles per hour.  The car/mini-bus debuted recently at the Geneva Motor Show, and Rinspeed put out this high quality promotional video on the product for us to enjoy.

I think that it will be better if there would be folding seats. Large passenger capacity is a good idea, but people do not prefer standing as likely as in video.

And conventional seat for the driver and more kilowatts!

Also as i can see there are four “seats”, exactly as in mini. And no hand rails! So it is unclear why it is better than conventional car. Perhaps, except for transporting ping pong balls.
