ELR Caught on Camera

ELR Caught on Camera

There’s no details to go on here, other than that this Cadillac ELR, wearing full camo, was spotted testing in the Pittsburgh area.

Why Pittsburgh?  No clue.  Why in camo?  Still no clue.

Perhaps it’s to show to Pittsburghians (?? nope…try again) Pittsburghers that coal isn’t the only source of energy.  Okay, we jest,  obviously Pittsburghers are well aware that energy exists beyond coal.

The Cadillac ELR was out testing in Pittsburgh for reason unbeknownst reason.  But there it was nonetheless.  Out for the public to see.

And the public caught it…on video.

Now that we know that GM is testing the ELR in Pittsburgh, you should keep a lookout as the ELR may pop up in your neck of the woods sometime soon.

Um, regarding that “energy & coal” thing — a gasoline/diesel car does not run on coal; a Cadillac ELR might, depending on the source of energy. For what it’s worth — and I don’t mind it — an electric car is the only kind of car that can run on coal.

The Camo is so there are no unofficial pictures of the ELR other than the reveals planned by GM.

I saw this parked at Advanced Autoparts on West Liberty Avenue. Can’t imagine why they’d be there?

This has been around the Robinson area a bunch – and just last week I saw what looked to be a full size SUV in camo rolling in the same area….possibly new Suburban or Escalade?
