Kick Gas™ The Movie – Release Date April 22,2014

Twas the night before The KICK GAS™ Movie, when all through the garage;

The EVs all charging with an electron barrage.
The plugs were aligned in the sockets with care;
Knowing the commute in the morning would not pollute the air.

The owners were nestled all snug in their beds;
While visions of batteries danced in their heads
When outside the window there arose such a clatter
The film crew sprang up to see what was the matter

The KICK GAS™ Movie will be released on Earth Day April 22, 2014

Away to the window they flew like a flash;
Tore open the shutters, and saw cars burning gas
When what to their wondering eyes should appear
An Electric road trip
With 8 strangers…OH DEAR!

A brilliant Director and Producer  came,
and learned for themselves the EVs by name

Now Nissan! Now Zero! Now Brammo, & A2B!
On Tesla! On Bimmer! On Ford and Chevy!
From the coast of the east, to the coast of the west
They ended their journey at The Google complex.

While I heard almost nothing as they drove out of sight;
KICK GAS™ to all, and to all a good night.

The KICK GAS™ Movie, will be released on Earth Day April 22, 2014 on AMAZON and www.kickgas.vhx.tv.

    This is great! Who is the Author?

    1. Eric Loveday says:

      The KICK GAS team collectively wrote this one

    I know I’m going to sound like a fuddy duddy, but seriously? No helmets on the bikes? Thanks for saving gas, but no thanks for being totally irresponsible and setting a crap example for my daughter. I guess this is a movie our family will skip.

    1. MMcI says:

      Thank you for pointing that out… it was bugging me too. I get that helmets hide the faces on films, where the emotional content displayed is necessary to tell the story, but I doubt that was the reason. And even if it were, it’s still disappointing. I don’t think it’s worth boycotting, though, perhaps just a teachable moment?

    2. Kosh says:

      Meh… in California, anyone under the age of 18 is required to wear a helmet when bicycling. Over 18 there are helmet laws for motorized vehicles anyway.

      As a long time Harley owner/rider, I will say that “helmet laws suck” just because it should be a choice.

      That being said, I always wear a helmet even when in states where there are no laws. I answer to a higher power…. my wife.

    Copy preordered and waiting with great anticipation!

    KenZ I am sure you can teach your daughter the importance of wearing a helmet without skipping the movie. You can’t shelter your kids from every bad choice others make and there is what more good stuff in this movie than bad!

    1. James says:

      Well said muchski.

    2. KenZ says:

      Fair point (you and MMcl). But still… I wonder if on a charge break, they’re going to whip out a pack of cigarettes too, so that there are more teachable moments…

      I know, I know, but it’s still friggin’ annoying. I mean come on, some may consider not wearing a helmet while hauling ass down an interstate as some sort of personal right, but it’s still totally moronic. I guess we should just dispense with seat belt usage too.

        Airbags infringe on my God-given right to obey the ‘Laws of Physics’ during a crash and pulverize my cranial cavity with my steering column!!!

        Why must safety devices be so damn oppressive??? 😉

  4. AWESOME! Super creative!!
    Can’t wait to see the film!!!!!

      WTF is a “gaswipe”??? I must know…
