Tesla Model X to the rescue.

Tesla Model X Drags A Volvo Out Of A Ditch

Video description from Bjorn Nyland:

“A Volvo got stuck in the ditch after a heavy snowfall. This road was 100 m away from the main road. So it wasn’t plowed.

The Model X in the video is a dual-motor, AWD P90DL.

It’s not clear from the video if the X is fitted with snow tires, but given it’s ability to easily tug the Volvo out, we assume it is. Β Isn’t this part of what being a utility vehicle is all about?

Since the plates on the towed Volvo seems to be Swedish, we can safely assume that the Tesla uses Winter/Snow tires (Mandatory in winter for all cars in Norway/Sweden/Finland)(

I wonder how the specs of a standard tow truck stack up against a Model X. Perhaps someone could do a conversion with a salvage Model X.

  3. Mikael says:

Of course it is fittet with snow tires. Anything else would beth be illegal and idiotic.

The other car is of course also fittet with snow tires.

There is no other way to go.

It is a simple AWD vs FWD argument at this point.
