Model S Slows By Itself For Tight Curve

A rather unique feature of Autopilot for the Tesla Model S (actually, it’s part of Traffic Aware Cruise Control – TACC) is that the system will automatically slow the car down if it believes that the road’s upcoming curve is too tight.

Video description:

“A demonstration of how the Traffic Aware Cruise Control (TACC), which is a part of the Autopilot in the Tesla Model S, slows down all by itself if it thinks the oncoming curve is too tight. This works even though Autosteer is not engaged.”

Ya, I noticed mine doing that. I had TACC only, engaged

All new BMW do that on cruise control, since few years.
Also, my BMW i3 2014 do that.

Maybe its me or the video, but it seems like the system slows down the car a bit late into the curve.
