Michigan to Host Midwest’s Largest Electric Vehicle Ride and Drive Event on June 8
Visitors at the 5th annual Michigan Electric Vehicle Show—from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 8, at Schoolcraft College in Livonia—will partake in what’s become the Midwest’s largest electric vehicle ride and drive event.
Best of all, it’s absolutely free to enter. Oh, and there’s will be a ton of electric vehicles on the scene, too.
Aside from ride and drives on Schoolcraft’s campus, EFV owners will be on hand to discuss all things plug in.
Here’s the list of vehicles that will be in attendance at this year’s event:
- Ford C-Max Energi
- Ford Fusion Energi
- Chevrolet Volt
- Nissan LEAF
- Tesla Roadster
- Tesla Model S
- Mitsubishi i-MiEV
- Detroit Electric SP:01 Roadster
- Toyota’s Prius Plug-In
- Think EV
- Smart Fortwo Electric Drive
- Plus loads of electric scooters and motorcycles
So, yeah, it’s quite the lineup.
Some converted electric vehicles will be on display too, as well as charging station companies who will be there showing up their gear.
And as Larry Tuttle, president of the Michigan Electric Auto Association, says “this is the largest event of its kind in the Midwest,” so you don’t want to miss it.
