Static Electricity Powers This One

Static Electricity Powers This One

Wouldn’t it be swell if this wasn’t a comic?

Imagine being able to charge an electric vehicle with static electricity.

Just think of the possibilities.

A few balloons and a headful of gnarly hair is all you’d need to keep that electric going on down the road.

Forget charging stations.  Just rub, rub, rub away.

Wow, an electric car that would actually have better range in the winter, or in dry desert areas.

  2. Dan Frederiksen says:

You can charge a car with static electricity. You just need a whole hell lot of it.
The universe is awfully good at energy accounting. You can’t make a car go by rubbing yourself 🙂
