Interested in Maintaining Your Electric Vehicle? There’s a Workshop for That
And it’s free!!!
It’s a two-day workshop open to all of those involved in maintenance of hybrid and electric-drive vehicles. We assume shadetree, home mechanics are included among this group.
Here’s the info on the workshop:
“As part of the Green Trainings program, Vermont Technical College is hosting free workshops at the Randolph campus on May 23-24 to address the training needs of these audiences.”
“The two-day workshop, entitled Hybrid and Electric Drive Vehicle Maintenance, is open to auto technicians, service personnel, and all of those involved in maintenance on these types of vehicles. Through hands-on training experience, participants will use proper materials and techniques for servicing and maintaining hybrid vehicles, including proper lifting/jacking techniques.”
“The Vermont Tech Green Trainings program is part of Vermont Tech’s Office of Continuing Education & Workforce Development. We are able to offer this training at no cost to participants due to funding provided by the U.S. Department of Labor.”
We’re just guessing that some loophole will allow home mechanics in, but if you’re interested in attending, then be sure to make use of the contact info listed below before packing your bags for a trip to Vermont.
