Last month, Nissan released a set of 10 infographics entitled “Top 5” Reasons To Drive LEAF In…

Well… there should be 11 markets, as the second reason for every city listed is Nissan’s “No Charge to Charge” program (2-year free access to charging infrastructure) in conjunction with the “EZ-Charge” card. Los Angeles is the eleventh market with “No Charge to Charge,” so it should’ve been included on this list, but was omitted by Nissan.

List of “No Charge To Charge” markets:

  • San Francisco
  • Sacramento
  • San Diego
  • Seattle
  • Portland, Ore.
  • Nashville
  • Phoenix
  • Dallas-Ft. Worth
  • Houston
  • Washington
  • Los Angeles (NEW)

Anyways, many reasons are common among the different cities, like $7,500 federal tax credit or state grants, fun to drive and lower driving costs. Sometimes there’s free HOV lanes access or support of local production in the state like in the case of Nashville.

Below you’ll find all 10 infographics (click to enlarge):

When’s Atlanta going to be added?

    1. Anderlan says:

It’s not on the list because they don’t want to be held responsible for saying there’s any reason to ever drive in Atlanta.

  2. James says:

For $100 you can add Austin, TX. ‘We’ only charge $25 for unlimited charges for 6 months at the 140ish chargers around the city.
