DS Automobiles’s DS E-TENSE was unveiled live in Geneva this week, and is one of the most beautiful electric concept cars we have seen to date.

French two-seater is sadly just a gentle sign that PSA Peugeot Citroën thinking about BEVs.

Despite a concept that looks near production-intent (no 28″ wheels or full glass bubble domes), there has been no serious indication that we will ultimately see a production version of all-electric GT from DS in near future.  Which is a shame.

It looks ridiculous. What in the world did they do to the sides?

    1. ArkansasVolt says:

looks like something out of a transformers movie or a hot wheels concept.

    2. offib says:

Oh would’ya lookit. This sure makes a VW Bora look swell!

  2. SJC says:

Swiveling headlights are interesting, sort of like a 1950s Studebaker.

  3. kdawg says:

I actually like the looks, as a concept car. It just needs to be toned down for a production version and paint it a different color besides baby-puke-green.

    1. offib says:

It’ll be best if they didn’t. Staying true to concept has workd wonders for the i3 and i8.

Knowing Citroen, it’s C6, C3 Picasso, C4 Cactus, DS3, DS5 and so on, it would be very unlike them to bore their car down.

If anything, and if they were serious, they need a rear window.

      1. kdawg says:

I noticed the lack of a rear window too, but it appears there is a camera there. I’m wondering if they are going to copy the Bolt rear view mirror technology.

  4. R.S. says:

PSA could really use the DS brand to launch EVs. Electric tend to sell better, if they are sold with a premium appeal and the quiet electrique drive would fit perfectly to the french view on luxury.
