Galpin Ford in CA Showing Focus Electric in Stock

5 years ago by Marc Lee 5

Galpin Ford in North Hills, CA is listing six Focus Electric vehicles as in stock on its website.  Could be that we are seeing the beginning of the retail rollout for the Focus Electric.

Thanks to leemell at fordfocuselectric.com for the heads up.

Cars.com have listed a few in stock for the last six weeks or so. As at today numbers have reached a dizzying high of 7!

Galpin is stating that the FFEs are not yet “on the property.” They are the largest Ford Dealer by Volume 22 years running, and reportedly have been allocated 35 FFEs.

The cars may not be “on the property” but I bet they are close at hand. Will be interesting to see what sort of media tie ins Ford has worked out for its first retail sale.

Dealer’s inventories are automatically updated when an ordered car is built. I found many Nissan dealers, in my search for a Leaf, that this was the case.

“Dealer’s inventories are automatically updated when an ordered car is built.” This seems not to have been the case with Ford to this point. There were individuals who ordered last fall and nothing was showing up online.
