FIM eRoadRacing World Cup Cancels Miller Motorsports Park Event
This year, FIM eRoadRacing World Cup (replacing TTXGP and FIM e-Power Series) was to consist of three rounds in the US and three in Europe. Still, that less rounds than in previous years, but the competition was expected to be fierce.
Now, it seems that organizers cancelled the scheduled event at Miller Motorsports Park, leaving only one more to be held in US this year – 18 August at Indianapolis.
The US’ only FIM eRoadRacing World Cup event in the books this years is the recent Laguna Seca event .
FIM is saying that a “Calendar Update” eliminated Miller Motorsports, but does not provide an explanation.
Maybe after only eight racers attended the Laguna Seca event, organizers became aware of the lack of participants for the next races?
