Inside the Chevrolet Bolt

Our very own, Mike Anthony of Mike Anthony Autosports, attended the Chicago Auto Show on our behalf, and put this Chevrolet Bolt video together. It’s not one of those quick looks, rather, Mike gives us seven whole minutes of detailed camera work.

He pans in and out, showing off everything from the touchscreen, to in-cabin bins, cupholders, pedals, shifter, lighting, etc. External shots show up-close footage of cameras, mirrors, wheels, tires, charging port, and quite possibly everything else. This is about as thorough as one could get.

Video Description per Mike on his YouTube channel:

Checked out the 2017 Chevrolet Bolt at the 2017 Chicago Auto Show, per request.

Mike takes the time to zoom in and reveal the up-close details inside and outside the Chevrolet Bolt.

The starting price of the Bolt is just over $37,000.

The estimated range on the Bolt is 238 miles on one single charge with its 60 kWh Lithium Ion battery pack (8-year / 100,000 mile warranty).

Charging with a 240v / 32A charging unit cranks up 25 miles of range back into the battery every 60 minutes.

Braking or letting of the accelerator pedal to allow regen will recharge the battery pack as well.
0-60 MPH time comes in at 6.5 seconds with its 265 lb./ft of torque electric motor.

Hat tip to Mike Anthony!

Where are the rear AC vents located ??
I would not buy any car without them.

May be not considered much of an automobile today but down the line will be viewed as a engineering marvel. Something like the fiat 500 some 50 years ago. Cheers! !
