Few vehicle manufacturers outside of Harley-Davidson sell as much promotional gear as BMW.

So it was not a huge surprise to see the BMWi collection of chotchkies show up on their website ahead of the Euro release of the i3 this month, and the US release this Spring (from $41,350).

The i lineup now joins the likes of the very popular BMW M Collection, and the not quite as popular BMW Yachtsport Collection … which is baffling to us, as who can get enough “yachting fleece pullovers” at 100 euros ($138 USD) a pop?

Still, like many others we are awaiting our own copy of the BMW i3, so why not own a i solar charger to recharge our smartphones (39 EUR – $54 USD) in the meantime.

Or own a BMW i pen made of copper with aluminium coating…with BMW logo and the end section made of die cast zinc” for 15 EUR -$21 USD to sign the deal when the i3 finally arrives?

Okay, we are having a little fun at BMW’s uppity expense – but we actually like a few of the items, and a little promotion never hurt anyone. (I personally have my eye on the USB stick).

Enjoy the specs on all 8 of BMW’s i accessory products!

I believe the caption of the i3 photo contains a mistake: the i3 will arrive in the U.S. in spring 2014, not 2015, right?

    1. Jay Cole says:

…that darn captioning department! Thanks Alohart, definitely Spring 2014! /fixed

At the price of an i3, who can still afford this consumer junk? It is a bummer that the only EV with practical range AND a backup generator comes from this detestable company.

  6. James says:

Maybe the range extender fits in the bag?

Still trying to figure out why BMW is not being sued by Apple.
