California Makes Available Additional $13 Million To Advance ZEVs

The California Energy Commission  issued two solicitations for a combined $13.3 million.  The goal is to fund efforts that advance zero-emissions vehicles within the state.

Zero Emission Vehicle Readiness (PON-14-603), will award $3.3 million towards plug-in and fuel cell vehicles.

Meanwhile, Advanced Vehicle Technology Manufacturing (PON-14-604), will award $10 million to support the development of advanced vehicles or advanced vehicle components within the state.  Advanced Vehicle Technology Manufacturing will award up to $10 million in grants to “cost-share the development of advanced vehicle technology manufacturing facilities in California that produce zero-, near zero-emission (ZE) vehicles, or ZE vehicle components,” according to Green Car Congress.
