“Have I Got A Girl For You !”
I’m laughing over the wedding announcement!

Mr. and Mrs. BMW, are proud to announce the forgoing arranged marriages.

“i8″ has had a dedicated publicist since birth, her real world qualities are unknown.
When the vails come down and the honeymoon is over the suitors will discover that among other things she has homely children, “i3s” and today there are 1,300 that have not been unadopted, and are waiting in “Nurseries” across the Country.

Later today “i8s” prettiest sister will be
    auctioned off.
Hopefully the heir to a major banking family will step forward.

Note: The GM family also has 1,300 “unadoptables” in their family too. Known for their beauty, and their ability to party anywhere, they will surely be found by suitors once they get their extravagant notions of their value back down to earth.

    1. Ace volt says:

Completely agree, looks cool but not enough EV miles.

  2. Anton Wahlman says:

This is clearly the new hot car to have. My friend who buys his cars strictly on the criterion of what is going to get the attention of the Russian ladies in Miami, is getting the i8. This will be the fashion statement for the next 1 or 2 years.

    1. Stephen Pace says:

No question, the car looks great, but hard to say it is an electric car given the EV range. Your friend could have bought a Lambo and probably gotten the same effect. Meanwhile, Tesla will sell more Model S than i8 this year (probably at more margin as well) and the Model S is much better suited to being a daily driver. I get that doesn’t help in the exclusivity department, but Tesla’s goal is to facilitate a complete shift away from gasoline vehicles and the i8 doesn’t help us much in that area.

      1. Anton Wahlman says:

Well, my friend doesn’t care if the car runs on coca cola or jet fuel, as long as it helps deliver the goods, if you see what I mean.

        1. Stephen Pace says:

As Elon has said many time, rich guys aren’t hurting for cool cars. What is needed is a transition to sustainable transportation. That goal is certainly a more worthy goal.

  3. Ellison says:

Pretty cool, how many electric miles again up to what speed?

    1. Disappointed says:

      Annulment Pending ?

Bmw i8, goes 15-20 miles in electric mode at a top speed of 75mph.

      Sorry !
