Rimac Automobili was present at the Geneva Motor Show with two electric supercars – 2016 Concept_One and the new, even more aggressive Concept_S (The Evil Twin).

Here we have Concept_One (more on the “Evil Twin to follow”), which is a clear fruit of personal passion and commitment from Mate Rimac and his team from Coratia.

The 800 kW, four-motor, wll-wheel-drive monster is one of the most powerful EV ever offered on sale.

  • 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.6 seconds
  • 0-200 km/h in 6.2 seconds
  • 0-300 km/h in 14.2 seconds

Detailed description of the Concept_One is available here.

  1. Skryll says:

Cost / performance tesla P90DL wins, but nice to see the upcoming competition with their 2016 roadster. The interesting question is if they really can make torque vectoring work in a mass product which would be a driving experience game changer. They are not the only ones working on it. Exciting times for sure.

    1. Ordinary Guy says:

Cost / performance, the Chevy Spark and Fiat 500e win.

    2. R.S. says:

I guess this won’t be a competitor with the next Roadster. Firstly, I hope the next Roadster won’t cost over one million dollars. And secondly, I don’t think Rimac wants to sell a mass product, at that pice… Have you seen the performance figures? 800kw and 0-300km/h in 14.2 seconds, not even the McLaren P1, or the Porsche 918 would be a match for that.

    3. Daniel says:

Mercedes Benz has already done Torque Vectoring in an electrified SL I think it was even limited production.

  2. R.S. says:

Still not sure if this isn’t all vaporware, if it isn’t, it would be the most powerful EV on sale and possibly one of the most powerful cars on sale, too.

    1. Someone out there says:

It’s very much a real car but there are only a handful of them yet. Then again this isn’t a type of car you’d expect to sell many of.

  3. Lad says:

Let’s see a sanctioned timed run to prove it. Otherwise, it’s just more vapor.

  4. Josh says:

The 4th picture in the article was definitely not taken of the car, the car is almost completely cropped out.

Funny though as you can clearly see a Model S in the background.

    1. Nick says:

      I know what you mean.

Clearly it was a picture of that man in the suit. Got to tell that photographer to work on framing and focus. 🙂

  5. pjwood1 says:

    It was the heels.

  6. Sveno says:

With such limited production runs a partnership with Tesla regarding Superchargers would be a huge bonus. Doesn’t he have a Model S or Roadster?

  7. Phaedrus says:

I’d go for the model, gorgeous (and priceless)

  8. ModernMarvelFan says:

I will take both the car and model.

    Love them both….

For how much the car cost, the girl should come with it.

Then again, I might be able to afford the car, not sure if I can afford the girl.
